Join us for a day full of art! We highlight artists based in Glendale and neighboring communities and seek to promote the hard work of our partner organizations and those participating arts organizations that engage our community members.
We love to bring more art to Glendale, develop ongoing partnerships with like-minded community organizations, highlight community artists and organizations, and bring our community together!
Some of our programs include:
- Giant puppet interactive and parade - Making Waves Artist Collaborative
- Community mural designed by indigenous artists with connections in Glendale - Lost Eden Arts Collective
- Student-led and run engagement activity - University of Utah’s “Art in Community” class
- Micro Movie Theatre showing film shorts - Utah Film Center & SpyHop Youth Media
- Live music and dance performances - KRCL
- Food options from around the world - Spice Kitchen Incubator, IRC (Int'l Refugee Committee)
- Artist Market – art vendors selling their wares
- Artist Demonstrations – artists working in various media demonstrating how they create their work
- Non-profit arts organizations – sharing information and offering activities

Renter Resource Fair
Salt Lake City Housing Stability will be hosting a Renter Resource Fair at the Glendale Library on October 23 from 5:30-7:30 pm. There will be a dozen organizations tabling to provide resources ranging from legal assistance to landlord mediation. Free dinner will be provided, and there will be a community health group providing flu and COVID-19 shots.

Forum: Constructive conversations about homelessness
The Westside Coalition - SLC is facilitating a community forum titled, “Constructive Conversations About Homelessness” to engage the Westside community in dialogue about this topic.
The forum will be on Saturday, March 2nd from 2-4:45 PM at Glendale Middle School (1430 Andrew Ave. SLC 84104).

Goat Head Cleanup Event
Be a goat buster!! Join us September 23 to help rid the Jordan River Trail of noxious goat heads. We're partnering with SLC Parks and Public Lands and the City of South Salt Lake for lunch, prizes and a good ole goat head pull! SIGN UP HERE
